To support delivery of Llamau’s Education and Participation provision in order to improve outcomes into Education, Employment and Training for the people that we support.
Main Duties - Working directly with learners.
- Work alongside colleagues within Llamau to identify young people who are not accessing Education, Employment or Training.
- Work in collaboration with colleagues across Llamau to build positive and lasting relationships with individuals to facilitate progression.
- Work with external stakeholders to ensure that referred individuals are supported to engage in Llamau’s own education provision
- Support to develop and deliver engagement provision to suit individual learner needs and interests relating to their next step;
- Support engagement with appropriate learning provision linked to their individual needs. This includes Llamau’s in house education provision.
- Support each learner to fully understand and complete any induction process;
- Support the delivery of Individual Learning Plans with each learner ensuring SMART goals and targets within Llamau’s own education provision
- Review targets regularly with learners in conjunction with Llamau’s Teaching team reflecting progress made through marking and learning diaries
- Work to identify suitable progression pathways, inclusive of employment and support learners individually to obtain these in conjuction with Llamau’s teaching team
- Prepare and develop resources to suit individual learner needs and interests;
- Work directly with Careers Wales to ensure each learner has direct access to impartial careers advice and guidance.
- Support learners to engage in their preferred next step, ensuring the required level of support is given to ensure sustainability.
