Llama Travel is an award-winning tour operator specialising in tours to Latin America, Africa, Asia and the Middle East. We are looking for an enthusiastic Travel Operations Executive to help grow the business.
The role involves:
- Contacting customers prior to departure regarding any travel updates or changes, including flight schedule changes, supplier amendments or operational issues
- Providing support to customers during travel when issues arise, helping to resolve problems quickly and professionally
- Following up with customers after travel to gather feedback and ensure a positive overall experience
- Keeping booking records, customer information and operational notes accurate and up to date
- Liaising with airlines, hotels, transfer providers and other travel suppliers when required
- Ensuring all customer communications are handled promptly, accurately and professionally
- Maintaining high standards of customer care and attention to detail at all times
Requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Calm and professional under pressure, particularly when handling travel disruptions
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Confident using computer systems and updating databases/CRM systems
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach
- Previous travel to destinations that Llama Travel offers is helpful
The package includes an initial salary of £32 – 35,000 per annum, depending on your experience, along with an annual bonus of 10% of salary earned, subject to performance. There are pension contributions, a travel allowance and other industry benefits.
