What You’ll Do As a Senior Principal Software Developer on this team, you will be a key technical member in the Analytics space, working with Oracle's leading Analytics Cloud products. You will contribute to the architecture, design, and development of complex Analytics solutions, requiring strong development, technical, and communication skills. You will manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. Additionally, you will take an active role in defining and evolving standard practices and procedures within the software engineering division, leveraging your advanced technical and business skills to contribute as a leading individual and team member, providing direction and mentoring to others.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5-7 years in software development or related field
- 5-7 years of experience delivering Analytics solutions
- Hands-on experience developing at least one full lifecycle project using FAIDP (formerly FDI), and OAC
- Expertise in integrating SaaS applications and on-premises application software using the FAIDP (formerly FDI)
- Proficiency in Data Warehousing and Data Modeling
- Strong understanding and experience with Data Integration solutions using the Oracle tools such as ODI, OCIDI, and OCI Data Flow
- Proficiency in at least two of Oracle’s four broad areas of offerings: infrastructure, database, middleware, and analytics
- BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area
Preferred Qualifications
- Implementation experience with Fusion AI Data Platform (formerly FDI) and administration/tuning experience with Oracle Analytics Cloud
- Hands-on experience in DevOps tools, end-to-end data integration solutions such as ODI, OCIDI, and OCI Data Flow
- Solid understanding of data warehousing principles.
- Experience in writing efficient and optimizing code and understanding of performance tuning techniques
- Experience working with internal customers and translating requests into prioritized work or features
