THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced, self‑employed sports coach to join us for Summer Term 1, starting w/c 13th April. This role is primarily to provide injury cover for our main coach. However, we view every coach as a key part of our team. You will be inducted through our industry‑leading ‘Holistic One’ Coach Pathway, ensuring you are fully supported and aligned with our high standards from day one. For the right candidate, this position offers the potential for long‑term partnership as our business grows—specifically looking towards coaches for our upcoming Summer Hockey Camps.
Current Schedule (Term Time):
- Tuesdays: 15:15 – 16:15
- Thursdays: 15:15 – 16:15
- Fridays: 07:45 – 08:45
Please note: You will need to arrive 15 minutes before the session for set‑up and safeguarding, making the total commitment approx. 1hr 15m per slot.
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience: Minimum 2 years working in education or sports coaching preferred.
- Qualifications: Must hold up‑to‑date Safeguarding and First Aid certificates.
- Status: Must be self‑employed (registered with UTR) and responsible for your own tax and insurance.
- Transport: Full driving licence and own car are essential to travel between sessions in Newbury.
- Specialism: While these are general after‑school clubs, a background or interest in Hockey is highly desirable for future camp work.
