The role of the Estates Surveyor is to successfully deliver all estate management services including the management of all lease events.

Key Responsibilities:
- Takes responsibility for lease renewals, rent reviews and all Landlord and Tenant matters.
- Takes responsibility for the day-to-day management of the portfolio.
- Collaborates with UK&I management to determine Real Estate requirements.
- Manages the tactical execution of transactions and property management activities.
- Ensures accurate Lease Accountancy / Administration.
- Analyze existing Real Estate portfolio, including leases, costs, space requirements and optimizing these on a continuous basis.
- Manage relationships with outsourced real estate service providers, including brokers, consultants, legal advisors, landlords, tenants and finance professionals.
- Drive continual improvement in all aspects of real estate portfolio management by participating on project teams to ensure timely completion of projects and driving the development of projects, services and capital budgets.
- Perform analysis and resolution of real estate/property operating expenses.
- Creating annual real estate portfolio budgets.
- Liaison with landlord, tenants and 3rd parties to manage and resolve property related enquiries.
- Managing end of lease and dilapidation processes.
- Interpret and ensure adherence to lease terms advising team members and the business as required.
- Undertake and manage negotiations of licences, rent reviews and lease renewals.
- Manage Landlord & Tenant notices taking appropriate action to protect the business.
- Provide advice on landlord and tenant issues.
- Conduct property management inspections.
- Manage property costs approving and challenging charges as required.
- Liaising with accounting teams with respect to property costs.
- Ensure property databases are maintained and updated with changes in the portfolio.
Skills and Experience:
- University degree in Real Estate Management.
- Membership of Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.
- Competent Landlord & Tenant Surveyor with Relevant Portfolio Management experience in Corporate Real Estate.
- Excellent communicative skills and strategic and analytical thinking.
- Recent experience working as an in-house surveyor will be an advantage.
- Proven track record in Estates Management.
