The herd comprises about 600 crossbred cows, milked to a very high standard with two milking assistants whenever needed.
Milk yield is around 6,800 litres daily from a 30 x 60 swing-over herringbone parlour with ACRs and in-parlour feeders.
Cattle graze extensively; winter housing uses cubicle sheds with a full TMR ration. A four-bedroom on-farm house is included, with occasional extra days off.
