We have a contract vacancy for an experienced head herdsperson to join a family farming operation near Sherborne in Dorset. This multiple site farming operation is milking around 2,000 cows and needs an experienced head person to undertake management of 1 x 600 cow unit, to include overseeing 2x day milkings, vet routines, calvings, drying off and general herd health operations.

A contract foot trimmer is used, and fertility is overseen with utilising Genus RMS. 4 Bedroom detached house accommodation off farm is available, and a very competitive salary is on offer.
