We have a new vacancy for a herdsperson on a family farm south of Shrewsbury.
The varied role would include milking and other general stockwork along with tractor driving at busy times. Attention to detail and previous experience is vitally important along with a love of dairy cattle. The ability to AI and foot trimming would be an advantage but not essential.
The 230 pedigree herd averages 10,200 litres on 2x/day milking through a modern 25/50 parlour and housed all year. With recent investment in buildings and new machinery make this an excellent, modern, well-managed unit.
