The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 Β£ per year.
We require a keen and enthusiastic herdsperson to help carry out the day β day running of a modern and progressive organic dairy farm near Skipton in Yorkshire.
Key responsibilities will include milking the herd of Holstein x Friesian cows, calf feeding, youngstock rearing and general farm work.
The farm has a purpose-built dairy unit which is 20 years old, as well as other youngstock satellite farms. There is a modern 28:28 rapid exit parlour with feeders, ACR\βs, meters, auto ID and auto shedding.
The successful candidate must have previous experience in a similar role, be able to think for themselves and work with the existing team.
