An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced person to join the team looking after the award winning Lakedale Herd of Pedigree Jersey cows and their progeny, based in Hampshire. The 300-cow herd calve all year round and are milked through a De Laval 28/28 parlour with feeders and auto shed. Cows are mainly TMR fed and loose housed in a modern building complex with all equipment and facilities well maintained. Youngstock are all reared on site.
The person required will have had a minimum of two years milking experience together preferably with AI and foot trimming qualifications. AI training could be provided for the right candidate.
We offer an excellent remuneration package to include a good three-bed D/G C/H house with a large, enclosed, garden situated within easy walking distance of the unit.
