If you have a basic grounding in dairy farming and seek a varied role within a team, we have an opportunity for you to join a committed family business, working on a well-equipped, multi-site, progressive farming business near Dorking.
This unit is set to run with approximately 270 high yielding Holstein/Friesian cows, calving throughout the year with 240 cows consistently in milk. The herd is TMR fed with additional feeding in the parlour; yields are around 9500 litres per cow.
Key points to the position are:
- A varied role, covering a number of important tasks.
- Good working environment, central to which is a 24:24 parlour with in parlour feeding.
- Well laid-out cow accommodation with sand bed cubicles.
