We have a contract vacancy for an experienced herdsperson to join a 750-acre family farming operation near Bath in Somerset. Conventional paddock grazing is practiced during the summer and, while housed in cubicles, cows get maize silage alongside self-feed grass silage.
The appointed person will need to be focused on clean milk production, with attention to detail and be capable of foot trimming or willing to be trained and support the farm team operations when required.
