The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

A 500 acre, all grass extensive grazing operation, with 470 crossbred cows, split autumn and spring calving, flying herd and milked via a 24 x 48 parlour, is looking for a suitably experienced assistant to work closely with the farm manager on a day-to-day basis.

Duties, on this fully staffed unit, will include:

  • Assisting the hands-on farm manager with all aspects of day-to-day operations
  • Taking full charge in the manager's absence
  • Some milkings
  • General stock work
  • Some yard tractor work
  • Feeding
