Our Clients are looking for a very unusual person! If you have basic carpentry skills and feel that you are also artistic and able to speak with Clients, this could be the ideal job for you.

You will be working for a lot of the time in the workshop at their offices in Colchester (Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm). At other times, you will be in various parts of the UK fitting at Clients' businesses the objects that have been made in the workshop. On the days that you are fitting, you can expect to work up to 12-hour days, usually leaving early in the morning. There may be the odd occasion when, owing to the distance, you will have to stay overnight, but this is quite unusual.

Our Clients fit and make various artifacts for the re-theming of Hotels, Restaurants, Public Houses, etc. For example, if the Client wanted a Victorian theme, you would help to make a Victorian picture frame or an imitation Victorian fireplace. It could be they were looking for a James Bond theme, so you may have to help design a golden gun or a mock sports car!

Unfortunately, it is very difficult to give you the split between working in the workshop and fitting as it varies so much during the year. Also required for this position is a clean British Driving Licence.
