Our client, based in Colchester, are looking for Class 2 Refuse drivers for an ongoing contract in the Colchester area. The role will involve driving and operating a Class 2 refuse vehicle, along with some loading duties as required, throughout the local Colchester area.
This is a Tuesday to Friday role 06:30 to 16:30 with occasional Saturdays due to Bank Holidays.
Qualifications:- Driver CPC
- HGV II Licence
- No DD/DR
- No more than 6 PTS
- Collecting household, recycled and green waste from primarily residential addresses.
- Collecting refuse/recycling from requested locations and disposing of it at the appropriate waste collection sites (mainly via dustcart but may include other vehicles).
- Carrying out daily vehicle inspections and completing appropriate paperwork.
- Drive / Load as directed.
This is an excellent opportunity with long term positions available for the right candidate. Permanent opportunities will be available after a qualifying period.
Pay rate is £12.50 p/h.
