Our client based in Harwich is a global business group operating across several key UK sectors including food, hotel, leisure and construction. They are recruiting permanent Class 1 HGV Drivers for their main distribution and warehousing site in Harwich, Essex.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver goods to clients using the company’s new fleet of vehicles.
- Collect goods as required by the Logistics department.
- Work Monday through Friday with up to 2 nights out per week, with night out allowance and parking fees paid.
- Operate independently, demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
- Occasional night working may be required.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Valid UK Class 1 HGV licence held for more than 2 years.
- Less than 6 points on the licence.
- Valid DQC and digital Tacho card.
- Permission to work in the UK.
- Professional, experienced Class 1 HGV driver with strong reliability and flexibility.
- Excellent customer service skills and confidence working unsupervised.
