Field Technician (Emergency Water Tanker Operative) Day, nights, weekends and night outs Shift Field Technician, in attendance near Colchester as and when required. You will need to hold a C+E Licence, Digital Drivers Card and current Drivers CPC accreditation.

Our client provides safe, wholesome drinking water wherever, whenever a piped supply is unavailable, unusable or inadequate. Primarily their work is in supporting the Water Utilities when they have a mains supply issue, keeping the general public on supply by using their tankers and other alternative means. They also work for the Commercial and Private sectors supplying construction, festival, petrochemical and other industries with water in bulk. As part of this, they provide contingency water supplies to keep businesses running throughout utility outages; all 24/7/365.

Following an initial training period working alongside existing drivers to provide guidance, and evidencing you are capable of undertaking your duties without direct supervision, you will advance to working independently on your 4 on/4 off shift pattern. Due to the nature of the product they supply, and the fact it is intended for human consumption, their Quality Systems are very stringent. Applicants would be required to undertake a level of internal training and show understanding of the importance of what they do.
