JOB ROLE
Working at LK Bennett is more than just a job; it’s a way of life and by becoming our Wholesale & Clearance Assistant Merchandiser means you will be at the forefront of our luxury business. In this role you will be providing support to the Head of Merchandising in the commercial operation of your department by delivering a product offer that exceeds customer expectations and achieves sales and profit targets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Key Point of contact for external clearance and wholesale partner.
- Liaise with customers, sales managers, warehouses and shippers to ensure stock is delivered on time and customers, sales managers are kept up to date.
- Manage and pull together stock and pricing offers for host partners.
- Involved with warehouse and logistics team to coordinate stock deliveries to partners.
- Work with in house finance team to Invoice external partners for sales, manage payments.
- Plan and manage trading calendar for clearance and outlet channels.
- Co-ordinate and manage external sample sales.
- Manage end of line product, including clearance of old stock to external partners.
- Plan trading calendar for outlet stores with store managers and Heads of Retail Trading.
- Planning MFO stock range and requirements, working with core merchandising and buying teams.
- Trading online partner sites, reviewing performance with external teams to maximise clearance and margin opportunities.
- Reviewing partner performance to identify new opportunities for stock clearance.
- Creates, produces and maintains internal reporting related to Outlets and Clearance channels.
- Responsible for Markdown and Promotional proposals, analysis and uploads for Outlet stores.
- Actively maintain EDI catalogues and process EDI documents: ASN, labels, etc.
- Carry out required sale support tasks and procedures such as customer order entry, receiving stock/issue adjustments, style searches etc.
- Ensure accurate stock movements are recorded on all systems.
- Ensure orders process correct and on time.
- Stock control and management through IP and warehouse reports, interdepartmental documents and liaison with Production and Merchandising teams.
- Ensure wholesale invoicing targets are met.
- Ensure orders are shipped complete at the beginning of the season.
- Assisting in allocation and shipping analysis through formal reporting or order book, shipping, forecasting, etc.
- Ensure departmental and customer database are updated regularly and accurately.

- Experience working with outlet and clearance stock preferable.
- Experience working with online clearance websites preferable.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Highly organized and enjoy working in a fast paced environment.
- Strong commercial aptitude with good understanding of premium retailers and the high street.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with good attention to detail.
