We are looking for a friendly, reliable and hardworking Catering Assistant to join our busy kosher kitchen and café team.
This is a varied, hands-on role combining food preparation, café service, cleaning, and customer support, ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced food environment and takes pride in high standards of cleanliness, service, and teamwork.
What you’ll be doing:
- Assisting with preparation of meals, salads and catering items
- Supporting food service in the café and at functions/events
- Setting up and clearing tables before and after service
- Operating the till (POS system) and processing customer orders
- Providing excellent, friendly and patient customer service
- Keeping kitchen, café, and service areas clean and tidy at all times
- Washing dishes, clearing tables, and maintaining hygiene standards
- Sweeping and mopping floors and ensuring all areas are spotless
- Helping with stock rotation and replenishing supplies
- Assisting with catering and functions as required
About you:
We are looking for someone who is:

- Happy to take on both kitchen and cleaning duties
- Hardworking with a positive attitude
Experience in catering, kitchens, or café work is helpful but not essential, as full training will be provided.
