A highly respected regional firm is seeking an experienced Residential Property Lawyer to join its well-established and friendly conveyancing team. This role offers an attractive opportunity for a skilled property lawyer who values quality of work over quantity. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a full caseload of residential conveyancing matters, including freehold/leasehold sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity.
  • Oversee all stages of conveyancing transactions, from instruction through to post‑completion.
  • Liaise with clients, estate agents, and lenders to ensure the smooth progress of transactions.
  • Draft and review contracts, conduct title checks, and raise and respond to enquiries.
  • Stay up to date with developments in residential property law and implement best practices.

Required Skills and Experience

  • A minimum of 2 years’ PQE (or equivalent experience) in UK residential conveyancing.
  • Confidence in managing a broad caseload with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication skills and a client‑focused approach to service.
  • Detail‑oriented with strong organisational skills; experience with case management systems is an advantage.
  • A positive, proactive attitude with the ability to work independently in a hybrid working environment.
