An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor to join a highly respected and long-established law firm with a strong presence across London and the South East. The firm has built an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality legal services to both private individuals and businesses and continues to invest heavily in the growth of its Property department.
Due to continued growth and increasing client demand, the firm is seeking a Residential Conveyancing Solicitor with a minimum of 2 years PQE to join its busy Stratford office. You will inherit a strong pipeline of work and manage a varied caseload from instruction through to post-completion. The role offers significant autonomy, direct client contact, and the opportunity to become an integral part of a highly successful property team.
The department benefits from longstanding relationships with estate agents, introducers, developers, lenders, and repeat clients, ensuring a consistent flow of quality instructions throughout the year.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a full caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion and post-completion.
- Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Transfers of equity
- Shared ownership transactions
- Auction transactions
- Residential development plot sales (where applicable)
- Drafting and reviewing contracts and supporting legal documentation.
- Conducting title investigations and reporting to clients and lenders.
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, brokers, lenders, management companies and other solicitors.
- Maintaining high standards of client care throughout the transaction process.
- Assisting with business development and helping to strengthen existing referral relationships.
About You
- Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer status.
- A minimum of 2 years PQE within Residential Conveyancing.
- Experience managing a residential conveyancing caseload independently.
- Strong technical knowledge of residential property transactions.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining exceptional client service standards.
