Residential Property Lawyer or Licensed Conveyancer | Chester (Hybrid Working Available) | From £42,000 | High-Quality Work
The Opportunity
My client, a well-regarded and growing law firm with a strong presence in the property sector, is seeking a skilled Residential Property Lawyer or Licensed Conveyancer to join their busy and supportive Residential Property department. This is a fantastic opportunity to become a key part of a dynamic and collaborative team, handling a broad range of residential conveyancing matters.
The Role
The successful candidate will manage their own caseload of residential property transactions with minimal supervision and contribute to the growth and development of the department. The role includes:
- Handling purchases, sales, and refinances of residential properties
- Managing HTB and other equity mortgages, ISAs, and HTB mortgage redemptions
- Dealing with leasehold and shared ownership properties
- Conducting right-to-buy transactions and investment property purchases (including HMOs and corporate bodies)
- Managing remortgages, transfers of equity, and straightforward declarations of trust
- Working with unregistered land and dealing with associated restrictions
- Handling probate sales
