Introduction:
A highly regarded Legal 500 firm in Reading is seeking a talented Wills, Trusts & Estates Solicitor (2β4 PQE or equivalent experience) to join their expanding Private Client team. This is an exceptional opportunity to handle high-quality work, develop specialist expertise and progress within a supportive and well-structured department.
What Youβll Be Doing:
- Drafting Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and other key private client documents.
- Handling estate administration, including inheritance tax advice and preparation of IHT accounts.
- Advising a diverse client base, including high-net-worth individuals, families and vulnerable clients.
- Working collaboratively on larger, complex cases alongside senior members of the team.
- Participating in business development activities and contributing to the continued growth of the department.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory, risk management and firmwide procedures.
- Developing your expertise through regular supervision, training and ongoing professional development.
What Theyβre Looking For
Experience & Qualifications:
- 2β4 years PQE as a Private Client Solicitor β however, candidates with equivalent depth of experience will be considered.
- Solid grounding in Wills, LPAs, and estate administration.
- Experience providing inheritance tax advice is advantageous.
Skills & Attributes:
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to support and guide clients sensitively.
- Strong technical ability and attention to detail.
- A professional, proactive approach and confidence managing your own caseload.
