I am currently working with a well-established and busy law firm to recruit an experienced Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive (CILEX) with 2+ years’ PQE to join their team in Ipswich. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and commercially minded legal professional who enjoys managing their own caseload while working collaboratively in a supportive team environment.
The Role
You will handle a wide variety of private client matters, providing clear and professional advice across the following areas:
- Drafting Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Preparing Court of Protection applications
- Administering estates and trusts
- Advising on succession planning and related legal matters
- Participating in business development, marketing, and networking initiatives to support the department
About You
To be considered, you will:
- Be qualified as a Solicitor or Legal Executive (CILEX)
- Have minimum 3 years PQE in Private Client work
- Possess strong knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Word
- STEP or SFE qualification is desirable but not essential
- Demonstrate excellent client care, communication and organisational skills
- Be commercially aware, proactive, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
