An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Family Law Solicitor (3+ PQE) to join a highly regarded and progressive Legal 500–ranked practice in the City of London. This role would suit an ambitious and client-focused solicitor looking to develop their career within a collaborative, supportive and forward-thinking team.
You will take on a high-quality and varied caseload, working closely with experienced colleagues while having the autonomy to manage matters independently. The team acts for a strong client base, including high-net-worth individuals, and offers genuine scope for progression.
The Role:
- Managing a broad family law caseload, including divorce, financial remedy work, private children matters, cohabitation disputes and pre-nuptial agreements
- Providing clear, strategic and tailored advice on complex and sensitive family law issues
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships through excellent client care
- Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team as required
- Contributing to business development, networking and relationship-building with referrers
- Ensuring files are managed efficiently, accurately and in line with best practice
- Keeping up to date with developments in family law and applying this knowledge proactively
About You:
- A qualified solicitor with 3+ years’ PQE specialising in family law
- Proven experience handling financial remedy and children matters
- Exposure to acting for high-net-worth clients
- Confident managing a busy caseload with minimal supervision
- Commercially minded with an interest in business development
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Tech-savvy with excellent organisational and case management abilities
- Pragmatic, adaptable and solutions-focused, with a commitment to achieving positive outcomes for clients
