The Role

As a Probate Practitioner, you will be responsible for managing your own caseload of probate and estate administration matters, providing clear, practical and compassionate advice to clients throughout the process.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Managing a caseload of probate and estate administration matters from initial instruction through to completion
  • Advising clients on the probate process and providing guidance throughout estate administration
  • Preparing and submitting applications for Grants of Probate and Letters of Administration
  • Dealing with estate administration including collecting assets, settling liabilities and distributing estates
  • Preparing estate accounts and liaising with beneficiaries and third parties
  • Handling client enquiries and providing regular updates throughout matters
  • Drafting legal documentation and correspondence
  • Liaising with financial institutions, HMRC, executors, beneficiaries and other professionals
  • Ensuring files are maintained accurately and in line with compliance requirements
  • Delivering excellent standards of client care at all times
