I’m supporting a friendly, down-to-earth UK SAP consultancy who are looking to bring in an experienced SAP PP Consultant to support delivery across a number of active manufacturing-focused programmes. This is a hands-on functional role working across the full lifecycle, from discovery workshops through to go-live and hypercare. The environment is collaborative, pragmatic, and very much focused on delivering things properly, not throwing contractors into chaos and hoping for the best. If you like calm delivery, realistic expectations, and stakeholders who actually want your expertise, this is a good one.
The role
- Leading requirements workshops and business process discussions
- Current-state review and fit-gap analysis
- SAP PP configuration and functional design
- Supporting integration with MM, QM and other core modules
- Working closely with business stakeholders to guide decisions and keep delivery moving
- Supporting SIT and UAT, including defect resolution
- Cutover planning, go-live support, and hypercare
What we’re looking for
- Strong SAP PP functional experience across multiple project environments
- Experience delivering end-to-end project phases (workshops through to go-live)
- S/4HANA experience or exposure preferred
- Comfortable in a client-facing consultancy environment
- Calm, pragmatic, delivery-focused, someone stakeholders trust quickly
The details
- £550–£600/day (Outside IR35)
- Initial 6 months with strong extension potential
- Hybrid working, with UK travel dependent on project needs
- Start ASAP (flexible for the right consultant)
