Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of defended claims via a case management system
  • Review high-value or complex pre-legal debts for litigation suitability
  • Draft legal pleadings, witness statements, and prepare court bundles for small claims, fast track and multi-track cases
  • Liaise with clients regarding legal advice, prospects of success, and case strategy
  • Coordinate with courts, enforcement agencies, and third-party providers to ensure case efficiency
  • Handle insolvency proceedings including Bankruptcy and Winding Up Petitions
  • Manage Return of Goods claims
  • Undertake additional legal duties as required
Key Requirements
  • Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive
  • Experience managing defended caseloads, ideally within Small Claims Track litigation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient with case management systems and general IT tools
  • Confident and professional telephone manner
