An established and growing organisation within the debt recovery sector is seeking a qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join its legal team based in Sheffield. Key Responsibilities- Manage a caseload of defended claims via a case management system
- Review high-value or complex pre-legal debts for litigation suitability
- Draft legal pleadings, witness statements, and prepare court bundles for small claims, fast track and multi-track cases
- Liaise with clients regarding legal advice, prospects of success, and case strategy
- Coordinate with courts, enforcement agencies, and third-party providers to ensure case efficiency
- Handle insolvency proceedings including Bankruptcy and Winding Up Petitions
- Manage Return of Goods claims
- Undertake additional legal duties as required
- Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive
- Experience managing defended caseloads, ideally within Small Claims Track litigation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient with case management systems and general IT tools
- Confident and professional telephone manner
- Solution-focused mindset with the ability to meet targets and KPIs
