Head of Litigation, Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive Location: Central London (Hybrid Working Available) Salary: £70,000 – £80,000 per annum, depending on experience Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent A well-established and forward-thinking legal practice in Central London is seeking an experienced Head of Litigation Solicitor to lead its dynamic litigation team. This is a pivotal role for a senior solicitor with a strong background in both civil and commercial litigation, looking to take the next step in their career. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage a team of solicitors and support staff within the litigation department Oversee a diverse caseload of civil and commercial litigation matters, ensuring high standards of client service and case management Develop and implement strategies in line with firm objectives Mentor and support junior team members, encouraging professional growth and development Maintain and grow client relationships through excellent communication and legal expertise Contribute to the ongoing development of the firm’s litigation practice Candidate Requirements: Qualified solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with a minimum of 5 years\’ PQE, with substantial experience in both civil and commercial litigation Proven leadership experience and the ability to manage, motivate, and develop a legal team Strong technical knowledge, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Confident, client-facing manner with a commercial and strategic mindset Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a hybrid working environment Benefits: Competitive salary of £70,000 – £80,000 per annum Hybrid working model Supportive, progressive working culture Opportunity to lead and shape a key department within a growing firm This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join a reputable firm in a senior leadership role, offering both autonomy and influence.
