About the Role

  • Advising on a full range of family law matters including divorce, separation, and financial settlements
  • Handling private children law cases, including residence and contact arrangements
  • Managing domestic abuse and injunction proceedings
  • Dealing with TOLATA claims and cohabitation disputes
  • Drafting cohabitation and prenuptial agreements
  • Ensuring effective financial control and adherence to billing targets
  • Supporting colleagues and supervising junior team members as needed
  • Following risk management, compliance, and quality control procedures

The Ideal Candidate

  • Qualification as a Solicitor or Legal Executive with demonstrable experience in family law
  • A minimum of 2 years PQE (guideline only – all levels considered on merit)
  • The ability to manage a varied caseload with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication and client care skills
  • Confidence with IT systems and case management software
  • A proactive approach to business development and marketing
  • Flexibility to accommodate business needs, including occasional weekend work
