Tender Planner – Utilities, Infrastructure & Civils – Central London We are currently partnering with a fully integrated infrastructure provider with proven success delivering the UK and Europe’s largest construction projects. Due to continued growth they are seeking an experience Tender Planner to join their team in Central London. Responsibilities * Prepare and Review Tender Schedules: Develop detailed project schedules for tender submissions, outlining key milestones, timelines, and dependencies. Ensure that schedules are realistic and achievable based on the scope of the project and available resources. * Assess Project Risks and Constraints: Identify potential risks, delays, and constraints during the planning phase of the tender. This includes evaluating site conditions, permitting processes, and other factors that could affect the project\’s timeline and cost. * Coordinate with Design and Engineering Teams: Work closely with the design and engineering teams to understand the project’s technical scope and requirements. Incorporate these into the tender schedule and ensure alignment between the tender timeline and design deliverables. * Monitor and Integrate Subcontractor and Supplier Inputs: Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to gather information on lead times, delivery schedules, and availability of resources. Incorporate their input into the tender plan, ensuring that all external parties can meet project deadlines. * Ensure Compliance with Tender Requirements: Ensure that the tender planning aligns with the client’s requirements, including timelines, specifications, and deliverables. This also involves cross-checking that all relevant documents, such as planning assumptions, constraints, and methodology, are included in the bid submission. * Track and Update Tender Submission Progress: Monitor and update the progress of the tender submission, ensuring that all planning-related tasks (such as document preparation, cost estimation, and resource allocation) are completed on time. Provide regular updates to the tender manager or project director on any potential issues or delays. Requirements * Relevant degree qualification in engineering/construction or equivalent. * Operational experience (i.e. site engineer/agent) together with significant experience of planning services in medium to large projects in UK. * 3+ years Tender planning experience.
