With a turnover of over £100 million, one of London’s reputable Specialist Contractors is seeking a Project QS to join their growing and expanding team. The Project Quantity Surveyor will provide commercial support including assisting in developing commercial strategy for specific projects by maintaining and maximising the profitability of the projects, through timely requests for payment, minimising of cost including sub-contractor, agreement of variations, securing of payments at the appropriate time and accurate reporting.
Responsibilities
- You will have a strong commercial awareness and understand all forms of Contracts within the Construction Industry.
- You will be able to create, review, and manage tender documentation, contracts and formal notices and discuss the same with suppliers.
- You will demonstrate a strong professional determination to obtain the desired outcomes and demonstrate a full understanding of both the commercial and financial risks.
- You will demonstrate strong negotiation and effective resolution skills.
- You will be able to independently undertake the key activities and liaise effectively with its peers, customers, site managers, engineers, and suppliers.
- You will be able to represent the status of your Projects at all required meetings and present commercial risk and cost-effective opportunities to your managers.
- You will have experience inputting data and creating applications into a financial system.

Requirements
