We are currently partnering with a multidisciplinary consultancy who specialise in design, engineering and project management services. They boast proven success across a variety of sectors including Data Centres, Commercial, residential etc. Due to continued growth, they are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Building Services Design Engineer to join their team in London.
Responsibilities
- Design and Specification: Develop detailed electrical designs and specifications for building services systems, including lighting, power distribution, fire alarms, security, and emergency systems across a variety of commercial, residential, and public sector projects.
- Project Coordination: Collaborate with multidisciplinary design teams, architects, and clients to ensure electrical systems are integrated seamlessly into overall project designs and meet client requirements.
- Technical Compliance: Ensure all designs comply with current industry regulations, standards (e.g., BS7671, CIBSE), and sustainable design principles, with a focus on energy efficiency and innovative solutions.
- Site Support and Inspections: Conduct site visits, inspections, and testing during construction phases to monitor installation progress, ensure quality control, and resolve any on-site technical issues.
- Documentation and Reporting: Prepare technical reports, specifications, tender documents, and client presentations, supporting the delivery of high-quality consultancy services from concept to project completion.
