We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team in London. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong engineer to take ownership of mechanical design packages, contribute to high-profile developments. Collaborate with a talented team across a range of commercial and mixed-use projects.Responsibilities• Mechanical Design & Engineering
Lead the design and development of mechanical building services systems, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning and public health interfaces, ensuring solutions meet project requirements and relevant industry standards.• Project Coordination & Collaboration
Work closely with electrical engineers, architects, structural engineers and other project stakeholders to coordinate building services designs and resolve technical and spatial coordination issues.• Technical Calculations & Specifications
Prepare and review mechanical design calculations, technical reports, equipment selections, specifications and drawings to ensure designs are accurate, compliant and fit for purpose.• Project Delivery & Client Liaison
Manage mechanical design packages throughout the project lifecycle, liaising directly with clients and project teams to maintain programme, budget and quality expectations.• Mentoring & Design Quality
Support and mentor junior engineers, review design outputs and promote best practice, sustainable engineering principles and high standards of technical delivery across projects.Requirements
• Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a relevant discipline.
• 4+ years' experience in a similar Mechanical Design Engineer or Building Services Design role.
• Must be based within a commutable distance of London.Benefits
