Tender Planner- Kent To £80,000 DOE + Competitive Package We are partnered with a leading fully integrated infrastructure provider with a reputation in delivering world-class projects across diverse range of industries in the UK and Europe. Due to continued growth, we are now looking for an experienced Tender and Pre-construction Planner for Civils, Utilities, and Infrastructure Projects. As a Planner, you will be developing, monitoring, and updating project schedules and plans including coordinating with project teams, managing timelines, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and executed flawlessly. Key Responsibilities & Requirements: Develop detailed project plans and schedules, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation in alignment with project goals, objectives, and stakeholder requirements. Work closely with pre-construction and cross-functional teams to ensure that resources are allocated efficiently & meet the project demands. Monitor project progress against the baseline schedule, identifying and addressing any deviations or delays. Help in building a Tender Planning Team and ensure that the programme content is functionally compliant with the planning procedures and guidance. Carry out regular project review meetings with stakeholders to discuss progress, including updates on schedule & address any issues. Work closely with project managers, engineers, internal and external stakeholders to gather information and update project plans. Identify potential risks and issues that could impact the project schedule and adjust project plans as necessary to accommodate changes in scope, timeline, or resources. Collaborate with Operational Teams to define and align construction deliverables, key methodologies, sequencing strategies, installation processes, and commissioning plans. Lead programme meetings whether internally or presenting to clients including Tenders and Live Projects. Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation making sure it is accurate & complete ready for review or submission to senior management. Degree/qualifications in Engineering/Construction. Proven years of experience in Project Planning in medium to large projects in UK. Strong proficiency in Project Planning software & tools such as Primavera P6, Powerproject, Asta, MS Project, and other relevant software & tools. In-depth knowledge of project planning and scheduling principles and techniques. Solid knowledge of the design process, procurement routes and all-round construction. Effective communication and interpersonal skills with ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively. Excellent attention to detail.
