Due to continued expansion, they are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee a portfolio of projects from contract award through to completion.
The business delivers a wide range of leisure developments, including new-build facilities, refurbishment schemes and the conversion of existing buildings into modern padel court venues and associated leisure spaces.
With projects typically ranging from £500k to £2m , this role requires a commercially focused Contracts Manager capable of successfully managing multiple schemes while supporting project teams to deliver projects safely, on programme and within budget.
Based from the company's Oxfordshire head office, this regional position will involve regular travel throughout the UK to visit live projects, attend client meetings and provide leadership across the project portfolio.
Key Responsibilities Oversee the successful delivery of multiple construction projects from pre-construction through to final handover.
Provide leadership, guidance and support to Project Managers, Site Managers and project delivery teams.
Take overall responsibility for programme performance, commercial delivery, quality and client satisfaction.
Manage contract administration, procurement, change control, variations and valuations.
Review project budgets, forecasts and commercial performance alongside the commercial team.
Monitor project progress, proactively identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
Support site teams in resolving technical, operational and contractual challenges.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.
Ensure all projects are delivered safely and in accordance with company procedures and industry best practice.
Review construction programmes and drive projects towards successful completion.
Support business development by maintaining excellent client relationships and identifying opportunities for repeat business.
Assist with project handovers, final accounts and post-project reviews.
Requirements Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within the construction industry.
Background delivering fit out, refurbishment, leisure, commercial or conversion projects.
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, ideally ranging from £500k to £2m .
Strong commercial awareness with experience managing budgets, contracts, variations and project profitability.
Excellent understanding of construction processes, contract administration and programme management.
Ability to lead and motivate project teams across multiple locations.
Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
