Senior M&E Project Manager – East London
To £120,000 DOE + Package
Our client, a leading engineering & construction contractor with a reputation for delivering world-class projects across a diverse range of industries dedicated to ensuring quality, safety, and sustainability is now urgently looking for an experienced Senior M&E Project Manager for Data Centre Projects. With extensive experience in M&E project management, excellent leadership skills, and a strong record of accomplishments in mechanical and electrical projects, the Senior M&E Project Manager will break down projects into manageable stages, leading project teams, coordinating with stakeholders, managing resources, and ensuring projects are delivered as scheduled and within financial constraints.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Develop detailed M&E project plans into distinct, manageable stages with clear milestones and deliverables.
- Lead and oversee the successful delivery of M&E installation in Data Centre projects, ensuring they meet client expectations, quality standards, and industry best practices.
- Coordinate and manage M&E project teams, assigning tasks and responsibilities to ensure efficient workflow.
- Facilitate communication between clients, contractors, and project teams to ensure alignment and collaboration, addressing any concerns and developing corrective actions.
- Allocate and manage resources effectively to ensure project goals are achieved.
- Carry out regular risk assessments to identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimise project risks and impacts.
- Perform interviews with contractors to assess their suitability for project requirements.
- Engage in meetings/training and present project updates & developments.
- Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or strong trade background in M&E Project Management.
- Significant experience in M&E Project Management within construction, preferably with main contractor and data centre projects.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
