We are currently supporting a leading UK construction and engineering services provider on the appointment of a Mechanical Manager to join their team delivering high-profile refurbishment works across parliamentary and heritage estates.

Responsibilities

  • Mechanical Delivery & Package Management: Lead the delivery of mechanical works across a complex refurbishment project, ensuring compliance with design specifications, programme requirements, and strict quality standards.
  • Programme & Site Coordination: Work closely with planning, construction, and commissioning teams to coordinate mechanical activities within a live, high-security environment, maintaining progress against key milestones.
  • Quality, Compliance & Assurance: Ensure all mechanical installations meet statutory regulations, heritage constraints, and project-specific quality requirements, with a strong focus on inspection, testing, and documentation.
  • Team Leadership & Subcontractor Management: Manage and coordinate mechanical subcontractors and site teams, driving performance, safety, and productivity while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
  • Stakeholder & Security Interface: Liaise with clients, consultants, and security teams, ensuring all personnel and activities comply with site access protocols, including successful completion of required security clearance processes.

Requirements

  • Must have 6+ years experience in a Mechanical Manager role on similar projects.
  • Must be based within a commutable distance of Central London.
  • Must have UK Passport.

Benefits
