A well-established fit-out contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver high-quality retail fit-out projects across the UK. Based out of the London office, this role will involve managing multiple fast-paced schemes nationwide, working closely with clients, site teams and supply chain partners to ensure successful project delivery. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially aware Project Manager who thrives in a client-facing environment and has a strong track record delivering retail or fast-track fit-out projects to demanding programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Delivery & Programme Management: Manage retail fit-out projects from pre-construction through to handover, ensuring delivery to programme, budget and quality expectations.
- Client & Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the main point of contact for clients, consultants and internal teams, maintaining strong relationships and clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Site & Supply Chain Management: Coordinate site teams, subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring works are planned, sequenced and executed efficiently across multiple locations nationwide.
- Commercial & Change Control: Monitor project costs, manage variations and support commercial teams to ensure financial performance and profitability targets are achieved.
- Health, Safety & Quality Compliance: Ensure all works are delivered in line with HSE standards, company procedures and project specifications, promoting a strong safety and quality culture on every site.
Requirements
- Must have 6 years experience in a similar role on fit out projects (preferably retail)
- Must be based within commutable distance of London
- Must be willing to travel weekly UK-wide
