In this role you will lead mechanical installation activities on a high-profile Central London project, working with the delivery team to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality building services installations. You will partner with the Project Manager to coordinate site teams, supervise subcontractors, and drive safety and excellence on site. The position offers structured growth, leadership development, and long-term progression within a major engineering contractor. You will contribute to a culture of safety, quality, and collaborative delivery while aligning with project timelines and client handover goals.

Responsibilities
- Manage mechanical installation works across the project
- Support the Project Manager in supervising site personnel and labour resources
- Ensure high standards of workmanship across all mechanical services
- Coordinate subcontractors and site teams
- Maintain health, safety, and environmental compliance
- Manage plant, equipment, and materials on site
- Ensure systems are completed and ready for client handover
- Maintain accurate site records and documentation
- Support training and development of apprentices and junior engineers
- Drive a collaborative and high-performance site environment
- Identify potential delays and communicate early to maintain programme delivery
Key requirements
- Mechanical Engineering or Building Services qualification
- Experience as Mechanical Construction Manager or Senior Mechanical Supervisor
- Strong knowledge of mechanical building services installation
- Experience managing site teams and subcontractors
- Strong understanding of Health, Safety Environmental systems
- Experience delivering large-scale construction or engineering projects
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
