M&E Commissioning Manager- North East To £75,000 DOE + Benefits Our client, a premier contractor operating internationally, is urgently looking for an experienced M&E Commissioning Manager with extensive experience in mechanical installations in industrial projects. As M&E Commissioning Manager you are responsible for overseeing the commissioning process of all mechanical and electrical systems within construction projects ensuring that these systems are installed, tested, and functioning according to the project specifications and industry standards. Key Roles and Responsibilities: Establish mechanical & electrical commissioning plans & programs for mechanical & electrical systems following the project requirements, specifications, and standards. Work with the project QA/QC, project AP department, designers, and subcontractors to ensure that the M&E commissioning activities are aligned into project objectives, schedules & workflows. Supervise the execution of M&E commissioning activities for M&E systems to ensure proper installation, operation, and performance. Work closely with the M&E installation teams to conduct testing, performance verifications and system integration testing. Ensure that M&E systems comply with design specifications, regulatory standards & requirements and inspect to identify errors and deficiencies. Work with project teams to develop solutions for errors or deficiencies and ensure timely resolution of M&E commissioning related problems. Keep track of accurate records of M&E commissioning activities including tests procedures, inspection reports and equipment documentation. Prepare commissioning reports & documentation such as test scripts, compliance statements and other related documents ready for submission. Communicate with project teams to ensure smooth transaction & handover of commissioned systems to facility owners & operators. Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field. Proven record of accomplishments in mechanical & electrical systems commissioning within construction with focus on industrial projects. Knowledgeable in M&E commissioning standards & guidelines. Effective organisation, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Knowledgeable in commissioning software and tools.
