A leading fit-out contractor is looking for a Technical Services Manager to oversee and drive technical excellence across a portfolio of high-value projects in London. The Role
As Technical Services Manager, you’ll provide leadership and technical direction across projects ranging from 5m to 50m, ensuring designs are buildable, compliant, and delivered to the client’s standards. You’ll act as the bridge between design, project delivery, and site teams, solving technical challenges before they impact programme or cost.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical oversight across multiple high-value fit-out projects in London
- Review designs, drawings, and specifications for buildability, compliance, and risk
- Coordinate with design teams, project managers, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues
- Drive innovation, value engineering, and efficient solutions on complex interiors projects
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, client requirements, and best practice
- Support site teams with technical guidance and proactive problem-solving
- Maintain documentation, technical registers, and reporting for all projects
- Contribute to continuous improvement in processes, standards, and technical delivery
Requirements
- Proven experience in technical management within fit-out, interiors, or commercial construction (ideally with a main contractor)
- Track record on projects between 5m–50m
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, MEP interfaces, and finishes
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
