We are currently partnering with a leading fit-out Main Contractor specialising in Offices, Higher Education and Science Facilities. Having demonstrated huge success across London, they are now seeking to further expand their team with a Senior Quantity Surveyor in Central London.
Requirements
- Cost Management and Reporting: Oversee all financial aspects of fit-out projects from inception to completion, including cost planning, budget control, forecasting, and value management to ensure profitability and commercial success.
- Procurement and Contract Administration: Manage procurement processes, tender evaluations, and subcontractor negotiations. Administer contracts, variations, and payment applications in line with company policies and project requirements.
- Project Financial Control: Monitor project costs against budgets, assess change orders, and provide accurate financial reporting to senior management and clients to support informed decision-making.
- Stakeholder and Client Liaison: Work closely with clients, project managers, and design teams to ensure cost transparency, timely reporting, and strong commercial communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Team Leadership and Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior surveyors and commercial team members, promoting best practices, consistency, and excellence in cost management and commercial delivery.
Must have:
- 10+ years’ experience in a similar role working for a main contractor
- 6+ years’ experience in commercial fit out or similar projects
- Relevant degree level quantity surveying qualifications
