This is a key site-based position, taking responsibility for electrical delivery from technical design and procurement through installation, commissioning and handover. You'll work closely with the project management, design and supply chain teams while leading electrical engineering activities. Helping ensure the project is delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard. Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate electrical design, installation and commissioning activities. Provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle. Resolve electrical and technical issues efficiently. Monitor electrical works against the construction programme. Coordinate with design teams, subcontractors, suppliers and project stakeholders. Ensure electrical installations meet project requirements and relevant standards. Support testing, commissioning and handover activities. Monitor quality and progress of electrical works on site. Support project close-out, reporting and handover documentation. Work closely with the Project Manager and wider project team. Mentor and support Junior Electrical Engineers. About YouStrong technical background in electrical engineering within construction. Experience delivering electrical packages on large-scale commercial or complex projects. Good understanding of electrical design, installation and commissioning. Strong commercial awareness within construction projects. Experience managing subcontractors and supply chain partners. Previous experience working for an MEP contractor would be advantageous. Data Centre, Mission Critical, Pharmaceutical or other technically complex project experience would be highly desirable. QualificationsDegree or relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. Previous construction industry experience. Relevant electrical engineering experience within a project environment.
