An exciting opportunity has arisen for an MEP BIM Coordinator to join a growing BIM team supporting the delivery of prefabricated MEP systems and offsite manufacturing solutions. Working closely with the BIM Manager and project teams, the successful candidate will be responsible for producing coordinated BIM models and manufacturing drawings for offsite MEP modules, helping drive innovation in prefabrication and modular construction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce detailed 3D BIM models for prefabricated MEP modules
  • Develop manufacturing drawings for offsite fabrication
  • Generate piping isometrics from P&IDs and specifications
  • Coordinate MEP services within plant rooms and modular assemblies
  • Ensure BIM models align with factory production requirements
  • Integrate models into federated BIM environments
  • Support design reviews to maximise prefabrication opportunities
  • Liaise with design teams to resolve technical queries through RFI processes
  • Assist with the development of prefabrication standards and procedures
  • Coordinate with structural engineers and project teams
  • Maintain BIM documentation and project model data
  • Support quality control through model reviews and clash detection

Requirements

  • Degree or trade qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services or HVAC
  • 3–5+ years’ experience in BIM coordination within MEP / Building Services
  • Strong experience with Revit MEP, AutoCAD and Fabrication MEP
  • Knowledge of MEP systems including pipework, HVAC and plant layouts
  • Experience working on complex construction projects
  • Understanding of offsite manufacturing or modular construction is beneficial
