A highly respected building services consultancy delivering complex pharmaceutical and life sciences facilities across the UK and Europe is seeking a Mechanical Design Lead / Associate Director. This is a strategic hire with a clear and defined pathway to Director level as part of the company’s succession and growth plan. You will join a technically strong leadership team delivering GMP, cleanroom and regulated manufacturing environments.
The Role
- Lead mechanical design across pharmaceutical & GMP projects
- Oversee HVAC, cleanroom ventilation & environmental control systems
- Develop contamination control & pressure cascade strategies
- Lead utilities design (CHW, LTHW, steam, compressed air)
- Mentor and grow the mechanical design team
- Act as senior client-facing technical authority
- Support commercial strategy & business development
- Sign off and oversee detailed design delivery
