Overview
In this role you will lead mechanical commissioning for hyperscale data centre projects, from early design through handover and operational readiness. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams in our London-based engineering and delivery function, supporting testing, validation and compliance. The position combines site travel with hybrid work to drive commissioning quality, safety and performance. Your work directly supports resilient digital infrastructure that underpins cloud and AI capacity growth, offering a meaningful impact across large-scale facilities.

Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical commissioning strategy and delivery across hyperscale data centre projects from design to handover
- Review design intent, specifications and drawings for suitability to commissioning and long-term performance
- Oversee testing and handover activities (FAT, SAT, IST) and manage defects and client acceptance
- Coordinate commissioning programmes across contractors, consultants, vendors and internal teams
- Ensure compliance with standards, legislation, and project requirements maintaining quality, safety and performance
Key requirements
- 8+ years’ experience in a similar role on large scale construction projects including Data Centres
- Must have relevant Mechanical Engineering or similar degree level qualifications
- Based within a commutable distance of London
- UK Passport or Right to Work in the UK
