An opportunity is available for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead the delivery of grid infrastructure, substations, and battery storage (BESS) projects across the UK. The role will involve managing high-voltage electrical infrastructure from 33kV up to 400kV, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget while coordinating engineering teams, contractors, and stakeholders. This position is suited to someone with a strong substation, transmission, distribution, or energy infrastructure background.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the full lifecycle delivery of electrical infrastructure and battery storage projects
- Lead project planning, scheduling, and execution
- Coordinate engineering, construction, and commissioning teams
- Manage subcontractors and supply chain partners
- Oversee high voltage electrical works (33kV–400kV)
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards
- Manage budgets, commercial reporting, and cost control
- Liaise with clients, utilities, and grid operators
- Ensure projects meet programme and technical requirements
