We are currently partnering with a Tier 2 Main Contractor with over 400 years of construction experience and over 50 years’ experience in construction in Europe. Due to their continued growth, they are currently seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their London arm to contribute to their further development.

Responsibilities

  • Electrical Installation Management: Oversee day-to-day electrical installation activities on site, ensuring works are delivered in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, programme requirements and relevant British Standards.
  • Technical Coordination: Coordinate electrical works with the wider MEP and construction teams, resolving technical queries, reviewing drawings and identifying design or installation issues before they impact project delivery.
  • Subcontractor Management: Manage and coordinate electrical subcontractors and specialist contractors, monitoring progress, workmanship and resources while ensuring works are completed to the required quality and programme.
  • Quality and Testing: Carry out regular inspections of electrical installations, ensuring quality standards are maintained and supporting testing, commissioning, snagging and inspection activities through to successful completion.
  • Programme and Project Delivery: Monitor electrical progress against the construction programme, coordinating labour, materials and sequencing while working closely with project management and engineering teams to maintain safe and efficient delivery.

Requirements

  • Must have 4+ years’ experience in a similar role
  • Must have relevant degree level qualifications
  • Must be based within a commutable distance of Bank
