Overview
In this role you will support the installation, integration, testing and commissioning of BMS systems on a major London project. You will work closely with M&E teams, subcontractors and client representatives to ensure safe, correct delivery aligned with project specs. The position offers exposure to technically complex commercial and data centre projects and opportunities to develop under an experienced BMS and commissioning team. You will contribute to project delivery, QA, and handover while maintaining high health, safety and quality standards. This is a chance to shape BMS implementations on a high-profile, international project.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate BMS activities with wider M&E workstreams
- Support BMS installation, testing, commissioning and systems integration
- Coordinate BMS works with clients, designers, contractors and project teams
- Review and coordinate design information and technical documentation
- Support technical submittals and material approvals
- Monitor BMS progress against the project programme
- Carry out quality inspections and support snagging and close-out
- Attend project meetings, engineering reviews and coordination workshops
- Support BMS testing, commissioning, witnessing and troubleshooting
- support fault finding and technical issues
- Coordinate with BMS subcontractors and specialist contractors
- Maintain project documentation, reports and records
- Support preparation of O&M manuals, QA documentation and handover information
- Work closely with the BMS Manager and wider engineering team to achieve successful project delivery
- Maintain high standards of health, safety and quality throughout the project
Key requirements
- Previous experience as a BMS Engineer / BMS Project Engineer / BMS Commissioning Engineer
- Experience on large-scale commercial, Data Centre or Mission Critical projects
- Strong understanding of BMS controls, integration and commissioning
- Experience with BMS testing, commissioning, fault finding and troubleshooting
- Good understanding of M&E/building services systems
- Experience coordinating with subcontractors, designers and project teams
- Ability to understand technical drawings and documentation
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Relevant Engineering or Building Services qualification
